the dream destinations of windsurfing - to South Africa.
In the European winters, it's summertime here with a
high probability of wind- the best conditions for a
relaxed Windsurf holiday.
You don't have to explore the country resorts on your
own, but rather Kutte Priessner a long-time collaborator
of the Surf -magazine, will be happy to take care of
you and will create a complete vacation program.
Kutte has been spending the last 10 winters in South
Africa, he knows the resorts as well as the country
and it's people.
Starting point and location for the program " surfing
with Kutte" is the gigantic lagoon of Langebaan -
it has become a well known name amongst Windsurfers
because "surf magazine" has been testing new
Boards and sail here for years .
Langebaan - only one hour car drive from Cape town,
the Mecca Windsurf of Windsurf cracks - impresses with
its Caribbean colours of the water, dream like beaches
and dunes that offer the best Windsurf conditions.
From beginners to pros, here everyone finds what they
look for. In the lagoons there is flat water and waves
for beginners - on big days even the pros come up from
Cape Town.
The little town of Langebaan is unspectacular and lacks
the hectic rush of a city - however it has a lot of
charm and offers many hotels , restaurants and everything
else that would make a Windsurf holiday " complete".
You'll find Nightlife in the nearby city.
Langebaan is reasonably priced and a great starting
point for sightseeing tours to the Cape region, the
wine belt Stellenbosch or to the picturesque Garden
Route..
The programme "windsurfing with Kutte" includes
- Transfer from the airport Cape Town to Langebaan and back.
